Witch’s Kitchen Presents: Shana Lutker in Conversation with Adriana Lara
Witch’s Kitchen: Part One presents a series of online events hosted by Shana, taking up themes and strategies put in play by Valeska Gert. The inaugural program brings Mexico City-based artist Adriana Lara together with Shana for a digital show-and-tell and conversation about the power of performance, the construction of identity, and approaching performance as a way of life. From the performances of Jessy Bulbo, to the music of Los Cogelones, to Adriana’s project, Red Social, the two artists explore the ways in which performance and life bleed into another, blurring the boundaries just as Gert once had.
