Chef Martin Draluck is a Los Angeles–based chef, culinary historian, and founder of Black Pot Supper Club, a research-driven dining and archival project exploring Black American culinary and hospitality history. Through immersive dinners, exhibitions, public programs, and his growing collection of historic cookbooks, menus, photographs, and ephemera, he brings overlooked culinary figures and traditions into contemporary conversation. His work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Eater, and Netflix’s High on the Hog, and presented through collaborations with universities, cultural institutions, restaurants, and community organizations. Drawing on more than two decades in professional kitchens, Draluck uses food, storytelling, and archival material to examine the people whose labor, creativity, and knowledge helped shape American cuisine.
